Oh lord won't u buy me a Mercedes-Benz?

"Modern Times", which is written, produced and directed by Sir Charles Chaplin and "Big Automobile Factory" which is written, produced and directed by William VanDerKloot are two movies that will be compared in this essay.

Although both of them are about mass production, their perspectives are totally different from each other.while "Modern Times" critices condition of mass production system for a worker, the other movie explains how a car is produced.after technological developments, workers had to work with machines and they are forced to work like them.their lunch time, break time, working time etc. were adjusted according to machines."Modern Times" emphasize this perspective of mass production.this movie tell us hard conditions with funny events.now, we laugh them but at the same time we can realize the tragic points of workers lifes.
however"Big Automobile Factory" don't suggest any idea about mass production due to its documentary core.this movie is more objective than "Modern Times"."Big automobile factory" try to show all the simple points of producing a car(sorry not a car,it is mercedes-benz!)because it is kind of movie that was prepared for children.

Also,in "Big Automobile Factory" ,we can observe that ,despite the fact that all factory consist of machines, they are all controlled by a worker.this is the proof of that machines is nothing without any human controller.

hit the road,jack!

I have been in aşti too many times, but i went there yesterday, again.I realize that when i was in aşti,i dreamed about my vacation. So i haven't been in aşti with respect to psychological meaning, but this time i tried to find out the real effect of aşti on me.

First of all,i entered the subway gate.I can smell the cigarette that comes from the terminal. It is the same smell that tell me about a new vacation. But this time i didn't go there with my dreams,so i can fell the reality of this terminal.I can hear the people's dreams and thinking.

After i had met with my friends ,we started to discover the hidden sides of this terminal.Actually we went there in order to take several photos but the security of the terminal didn't allow us.After a lot of struggles we could get the permission,so we started to take photo the every tiny details.

I saw the people who hurried up in order to catch their bus,who left their parents behind in order to go to university, who wait for a lover...I always think that if somebody want to find a stressful person,he or she should go to a terminal.

I read Alain de Botton's book and i saw a lot of pictures about the time that lover's leaving. So we tried to take their pic.It was really hard to find them and take their photo without any fighting.lol.

the biggest cliché of these terminals is the waving after a bus.But i always feel sad about the people who has nobody to wave after them.so we decided to wave to these people in order to make them happy.lol.

-when i was thinking about the title,i was listening "ray charles-hit the road jack"(i love this song)...-
